Alison, apologies if I’m the 5th (or 15th) person to mention this, but do you know that you were name checked in the Nov 3 New Yorker Briefly Noted reviews? This was in the review for Posy Simmonds’ Tamara Drewe. Just thought that was cool.

I was also part of the SF Booksmith crowd. So glad I got to meet you (and that I refrained from saying to you that I’m you’re number 1 fan*).

Aw, Aunt Soozie, it was such a downer when CP Cafe got all bossy about reservations. They want your credit card number now, which stinks. I hate giving out credit card numbers to restaurants. They claim its to cover the cost of the food, but its not like they aren’t going to have someone else come in and order and eat it. If I want fancy, I go to Bay Wolf in Oakland.
