Paper Play: The Movie

September 10th, 2006 | Uncategorized

Phranc and I made this little movie yesterday about our art show. I wish I could embed it here, but you have to go to YouTube to see it. It’s about three minutes long, with a live impromptu soundtrack by Phranc.

You and Phranc are having way too much fun together, Alison. People of Vermont, lock your office closets and get up early to bring in that Burlington Free Press…Phranc & Alison are on the loose. No paper product is safe… 🙂

While watching your youtube movie I was struck by how many of your drawings reminded me of Hilary Knight’s illustrations – I’m sure you’ve been told this before, but I suddenly placed the sense of familiarity I’ve often felt while viewing your strip. Fabulous show.

Magnificent work! I only wish my computer screen were 7 feet high so I could really appreciate the drawings. And it’s always great to see and hear Phranc. I’ll be listening to her song “Gary” this afternoon- it’s my September 11th ritual- so to see new footage of her was a real treat.
