And I find nothing strange about documenting your life. The bad thing about the blogging is that it makes it so easy to do, however …
A. in Paris (love the anonymous nickname) told me to check out your website for great news. We’re glad you came all the way over to anti-Bush land, where we thank the ballot box stuffers everyday for giving us a good reason to be anti-American and call it something else.

My girlfriend lives in Paris, and I am back in the States (transatlantic relationship). She is very excited about attending your book reading on Friday evening. This past summer, I gave her Fun Home as a birthday gift (it was the first time in over 3 years that we got to spend her birthday together) . . . she was overjoyed to receive it. MAG – The reading on Friday night at 7pm will be held at “Les mots à la bouche”. The bookstore is in the Marais on rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie. I hope your mom and friends can make it!

MAG – alternately, there is a reading scheduled on Thursday night at 7pm at the women’s/lesbian bookstore “Violette et Compagnie”, 102 rue de Charonne. If you haven’t discovered the place yet, it’s well worth a visit.
Also on Saturday, the 28th, at 2pm, as part of the lesbian film festival Cineffable at “le Trianon”, a movie theatre at 80, bd Rochechouart, another signing is organized by the same bookstore. More info (films etc.) on the festival’s website (www.cineffable.fr).
I am so glad you don’t neglect your blog fans and always update us even before exploring Paris!
This is a gorgeous picture. I especially love the way the light shines through the curved grace of the ironwork which so perfectly contrasts the clean straight lines of the window panel and of your silouette / your personality (which we’re frightingly familiar with, since you not only record but also share and reveal so much of your life.) (Unless, of course, you are making your whole persona up.) (That would be really funny, and quite a feat.)
Enough mind-convolutions. Question: who takes these pictures that have such an air of solitude? Their intimacy suggests the eye of a partner or lover or one’s self. Does Amy (amy, right?) travel with you? Or do you set them up yourself? It’s pretty amazing if you do — they evidence a good eye, and if there isn’t even an eye behind it … I’d guess you take a couple tries at each shot, at least. Or do you just ask strangers, and only post the good ones?

so… you should say:
les premières choses en premier (you should repeat now)
but we don’t really say that, to express the same idea we could say:
“faisons les choses dans l’ordre”
don’t give up, you’re gonna have it… ok. now, go around and enjoy!
