Lambda Literary Foundation Fundraiser
I promised to raise $500 for the Lambda Literary Foundation this year, so I’m doing this little fundraiser where I donate 5 pieces of art for $100 bucks each. (NOTE 7/5/09: Everything’s been sold! Thanks to everyone who bought a piece!)
The LLF has been around for…uh…I can’t seem to find the exact number of years, but it’s at least 20. They publish the Lambda Book Report, they hold retreats for emerging writers, they present the Lambda Literary Awards every year. They have all kinds of support and networking stuff happening for LGBT writers, and they need money to keep it all going. Please pitch in to support this vital cultural resource, and get some original art in the bargain!
(Postage to continental US is included in the $100, but if you need something shipped internationally I’ll have to charge extra.)
1. “Backstage,” from the 1997 DTWOF calendar. SOLD!
2. A strip about my characters going to the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival that I did for Out Magazine in 1995. SOLD!
