chalk dykesMan! 88 comments on that last post…I haven’t even had time to read through them all yet. But thank you. I’m a bit crazed. I was out on the road again this week, which I meant to announce before I left, but of course didn’t have time for and now my laptop has croaked, making everything infinitely more difficult. I talked about my comic strip at Wesleyan University Tuesday evening. That’s where I took this picture. ben at wesleyanAnd here’s Ben Sachs-Hamilton, a student at Wesleyan who I’ve known since he was a little kid. Interesting milestone: I’ve now officially been drawing this comic strip for longer than college students have been alive.

I forgot to take a picture at Mt. Holyoke last night because I was having so much fun.

    What a great week for a road-trip in western New England. A bit chilly but otherwise spring is errupting everywhere.

    I love “Rhymes With Orange”. Any chance we’ll get to see “the drawing we did together”?

    (Bummer about the laptop…)

    Whoa Alison:
    You didn’t tell us that the Houghton-Mifflin link
    (i.e. the “Coming in June,…” link on the ‘blog)
    now has a couple pictures from the book.

    I so can’t wait to read this book.

    Argh, I had no idea you were going to be at Wesleyan … that’s my alma mater, and I still live only a half-hour away so I could’ve been there. Oh well. Next time. 🙂

    Hilary Price and Alison in the same room at the same time! Drawing a picture together!? Be still my heart….Want to see it ;@ though.

    Heck I was born when Eisenhower was pres, you haven’t been drawing the strip longer than I’ve been alive and I’m a junior at UC Santa Cruz….
