The phoebes’ nest is boiling with babies. They’re much further along than they were yesterday.

“I wonder how they keep track of who has gotten bugs. And who needs bugs.”
That’s an essential question for so many of us in so many different ways, isn’t it?
Thanks for tracking the phoebes as they test their wings. I’ve also been watching a crow’s nest in Vancouver, Canada. It’s amazing (and very good, I think) how attached I have gotten from thousands of miles away.

Okay, no,
in that last post where you said you weren’t cool?
You really need to take that back. You are so modest Bechdel. I’m mean at the close of this video where you say…
“I wonder how they keep track of who has gotten bugs and who needs bugs?” Can you get any hipper than that?
Because alot of times when I think about those smooth talking charmers, those slick, androgynous, calm, in control, motorcycle riding, leather jacket wearing, wanna see my etchings and if not how about my piercings, totally cool lesbians I fantasize about them strumming along on their banjos while they are reading three books at one time.
Sauve. Yowzah.
I think the rule was we’re not allowed to say mean things about other people but we are allowed to tease you Alison… right?
By the way, don’t you just love how the baby birds look all soft and fuzzy?? those downy, fluffy feathers are so cute.
