Piano cat

September 28th, 2013 | Uncategorized

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Fun Home The Musical contest! All 27 of you. The winners were notified today.

Has anyone seen the Salinger movie? Hol and I went tonight. It was kinda cheesy, like one of those annoying History Channel shows that beats you over the head and repeats itself constantly.

The cat was frisky when we got home.

I assume that the movie AB is referring to is the new documentary by Shane Salerno. For any interested folks “Vermont Edition” (Vermont Public Radio’s noontime interview/call-in program) did a show/interview about the film last week (you can listen to it [HERE])

I can’t comment on the film (which I’ve not seen) nor even about the VPR show (which I didn’t happen to hear –for that matter I should probably come clean and admit that I’ve never even read Catcher in the Rye….). But I thought I’d mention this in case anyone was interested.

Highly amusing! If you want Donald out of there, though, I suggest
that you play some loud chords with the sostenuto pedal down.
That will probably do it….at least for the time being.

Granted, it’s a piano, but I’ll bet just quietly whispering the word “catgut” will do the trick…

I had hoped to dream of raindrops falling on a wheelbarrow last night, but I dreamt of Donald playing chopsticks, instead! 🙂 Did anybody happen to catch the last episode of Breaking Bad last night? If not, the Onion has a recap.

I see your cat is as obedient as mine.
